 Once
an Apple Orchard, a grove of Maple Trees provides shade in the
summer for picnics, and surrounds an outdoor pavilion that
shelters events during inclement weather.
 "Lilla
Stugan" (The Little Cottage) provides coffee, pastry, and
more on weekends, and during open events at the park.
 Horseshoes
Anyone? Just behind "Leif's Spa" and next to
"Viking Hall" is our Horseshoe Pit which has seen many
tournaments among our members and guests.
 Kids
have a great time at the Dick Pierson Memorial Playground, Here
you see them exploring the ship, one of our popular attractions.
 During
the Summer, our (Olympic Size) Swimming Pool provides a place to
cool off. It has also been the location for pool parties and other
gatherings.
 The
"Clubhouse", Originally the farmhouse is adjacent to
the pool. Inside there are meeting rooms, facilities for
overnight guests, and a members lounge enjoyed on weekends,
evenings, holidays by members and guests.
 The
Member's Lounge inside the Clubhouse is a meeting place for
members and friends, and the setting for "Friday Night
Dinners".
 Viking
Hall, the setting for most social events of NJ District Six, and
the hosting facility for weddings, banquets, Seminars, and many
other public events, is centrally located within the park, with
easy access to parking. The facility is handicapped accessible,
and hosts an attendance of 200 or more.
 Consider
Vasa Park when planning your Wedding, anniversary Celebration or
other major family event, with your reception professionally
catered at Viking Hall.

 The
Ballroom can be set up to host a Sit-Down Dinner, Buffet or
Smorgasbord, or provide a dance floor big enough to accommodate Scandinavian
Gammaldans. By all means, view our other panels to see some of
the events that have taken place.
